Recruitment of study subjects is often the most difficult part of conducting a study. Creating balanced, informative advertisements to potential research subjects can be challenging. Please join us for a presentation by Massachusetts General Hospital Marketing Department as they discuss techniques for creating advertising materials that will improve recruitment.

Topics that will be discussed include:

  • Description of the hierarchy of information
  • Discussion of Hospital guidelines, branding standards
  • Top 10 design tips (font, colors, amount of text etc.).
  • Creating advertisements within the framework of IRB policy
  • Good and bad examples of research advertising

A representative from the Partners IRB will also attend this session. There will be time for questions so please feel free to mention issues you’ve experienced related to advertising or bring along an advertisement for critique.

Registration is required. Contact Jillian Tonelli with further questions about this session.
