ECOR FMD Fellowship Awards

The Fund for Medical Discovery (FMD) Research Awards are for MD and PhD Research Fellows and Clinical Research Fellows who are in the training phase of their research at MGH. Instructors who are within 5 years total since initiating their research fellowship training are only eligible to apply for the Clinical and Population Healthcare Sciences Fellowships. The award is open to fundamental, clinical, and population healthcare sciences research at MGH. Each award includes a stipend of $67,781 plus applicable fringe benefits and 20% indirect costs for one year.

ECOR will accept only one application per applicant for MGH ECOR Fellowship Awards per calendar year.

To ensure that all areas of research conducted at MGH are included and eligible for FMD fellowship awards, ECOR is now offering 3 types of training awards:

A call for applications will be announced twice a year. Applicants must indicate the type of training award they will be applying for in their application.
