Pew Scholars Program
The Pew Scholars Program in the Biomedical Sciences is designed to provide funding to Assistant Professors who are young investigators of outstanding promise in the basic and clinical sciences relevant to the advancement of human health. The funding of the awards is provided by The Pew Charitable Trusts. The award is intended to provide assured support for Assistant Professors during their earlier years as they establish their laboratories.
MGH is eligible to nominate one candidate for this award. The four-year award is for $300,000 inclusive of 8% overhead and is paid as $75,000 per year.

NOTE: The PEW Charitable Trusts also sponsors the Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences Award. There is no limit on the number of applications from MGH and applications. The call for applications is forthcoming.
