Claflin Consultation Initiative 2024 - Survey for Applicants

Deadline – Friday, December 1, 2023 - 5:00pm

DESCRIPTION

If you are applying for a Claflin Distinguished Scholars Award, and would like help preparing your application, ECOR and the Office for Women’s Careers (OWC) encourages you to take advantage of the pre-award Claflin Consultation Initiative (CCI) for applicants. By submitting a survey for the CCI, you will be matched with a Claflin alumna who best fits your area of research.

The CCI is designed to help eligible faculty prepare their best application for the 2024 Claflin Distinguished Scholar Awards. Many prior Claflin award recipients have volunteered their time to answer questions and offer guidance and encouragement to potential applicants. Claflin alumna coaches may give advice on all aspects of the application, including the research plan, budget, description of child-rearing responsibilities, and advice for repeat applicants.

The last date to enroll in the CCI is Friday, December 1, 2023 at 5pm

The deadline to apply for the Claflin Distinguished Scholar Awards 2023 is Tuesday, January 30, 2024.

We will make every effort to honor your preferences when matching you to a Claflin alumna coach, but in some cases this may not be possible. Someone from ECOR will be in touch with you before Friday, December 8, 2023.
