SAC 2015 ePosterboard Information

This year, we will be featuring 30 electronic poster boards (ePosterBoards) at the 2015 SAC poster session. Below are suggestions and guidelines for creating your ePoster.

  • The ePosterboard setup consists of a 47" ( non- touch screen) LCD monitor, which gives a finished screen size of 40.97” W x 23.04” H. For best results your slide or page size should be designed to fit within this screen size.

  • Please use 28pt font for the poster to be easily readable

  • Templates are provided  to help you design your posters (see links below).

  • Each LCD monitor is attached to a "mac mini" running the latest Yosemite operating system. Software consists of Apple’s Keynote (ver.  6.5) or Microsoft’s Powerpoint (mac ver. 2011). Multimedia content can be added to your presentation as long as it is one of the standard video formats (.mov, .mp4, .m4v, avi, or mpeg) and requires no additional software be installed.

  • On average, posters should be 3-5 pages of content with additional pages used to hyperlink images, rotating graphics or videos. Slides should be set to advance on mouse click or automatically based upon time settings. File size should be 100mb or less.

  • File names should be saved as:
    "NotifyingAuthorLastName_
    NotifyingAuthorFirstName"

(it is very important you use this naming convention so we are sure your poster gets uploaded onto the proper ePosterboard station).

  • ePoster setup will be March 31st from 3-5pm. Your presentation and all multimedia files need to be brought to the setup session on a USB flash drive.
