Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC)

The MGH Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting is a two-day event that celebrates key accomplishments of MGH investigators, past and present, and examines strategies for meeting the challenges currently facing the academic biomedical research community at MGH.

This year, MGH is holding their 70th Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting on March 28 & 29, 2018. The theme of SAC this year will be The Mass General Research Institute: Growing Stronger Together.

The event starts off with a Scientific Poster Session that highlights the ongoing research at MGH followed by a Celebration of Science. During this time, we will present awards for the 2018 Goodman Fellowship and the 2018 Martin Prizes for Clinical and Fundamental Research.

The second day of the SAC meeting focuses primarily on the Mass General Research Institute. Specifically drawing the attention on our marketing and fundraising initiatives, partnerships with industry and sustaining the clinical research mission.

The program provides an engaging and stimulating day of discussions. We greatly appreciate the MGH research community’s participation and are especially grateful for the participation and the leadership of the SAC members who make each year’s meeting a productive and successful event.
