Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC)

The MGH Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting is a two-day annual event, which celebrates key accomplishments of MGH investigators, past and present, and examines strategies for meeting the challenges currently facing the academic biomedical research community at MGH

We began the event with a Scientific Poster Session that highlights the ongoing research at MGH followed by an afternoon Research Symposium full of presentations from award winners across the institution.  The second day of the SAC meeting starts with an ECOR Report highlighting progress made on previous SAC recommendations, updates from several of the hospital’s research leaders and departmental chiefs, followed by round table discussions of issues facing the MGH research community.

The program provides an engaging and stimulating day of discussions. We are greatly appreciative of the MGH research community’s participation and especially grateful for the participation and the leadership of the SAC members who make each years meeting a productive and successful event.
